Our grant guidelines provide a full description of the types of grants available and our requirements:

Spring Grant Applications are accepted Feb. 15 – April 1. Fall grant applications are accepted June 15 – Aug. 1.

Budget Spreadsheet (Use of this template is required) 

Forms for alternative submission methods (via mail or email):

Grant Application Spring 2026 (download, edit and email)

All applications must include the following:

  1. Project description
  2. Photos of the site
  3. Sketch of plan (using only Maryland Coastal Plains natives)
  4. Maintenance plan
  5. Letter of support from the property owner, and
  6. Proposed budget (use Unity Gardens’ Budget Spreadsheet template only and submit in either Excel or PDF format).

Applications missing any of these required components will be considered incomplete.
